The Indianola Community School District participates in the National School Lunch program. The program is a federally assisted meal program operating in more than 99,800 public and non-profit private schools and residential child care institutions. It provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to more than 26 million children each school day. The school district administers this program through agreements with State and Federal authorities. Families needing assistance may apply for free or low cost meals.
