Indianola High School (IHS) would like to welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year. We are excited about the “Proud Traditions & Unlimited Possibilities” we have to offer. Throughout the year students will be exposed to challenging curriculum designed to fit individual needs and interests preparing them for college and career readiness and the 21st Century.
Students have access to their own personal ChromeBook (22-23) through our Digital Learning Environment (DLE). Our staff and students continue to explore new possibilities by working, studying, creating, collaborating, and thinking beyond classroom walls through the DLE.
IHS students are heavily involved in many extra and co-curricular activities. We are a proud member of the Little Hawkeye Conference competing in 15 athletic programs. In addition, students have the opportunity to participate in any one of 34 activities or clubs.
IHS is excited about the recent upgrades that have taken place to our facilities, which are some of the best in the State of Iowa. Please call our office to schedule a tour of our campus. We will proudly show you what Indianola High School has to offer.
Sincerely,
Jeff Siebersma

“IHS gave me the foundation I needed and I have so many fond memories at IHS that I had to come back and be a part of the staff to hopefully share and give that positive experience to other young people at IHS"
“Indianola High School prepared me with great knowledge and leadership to bring success to my future in education.”
“The community and school work together to allow students to build relationships and create connections through different activities. These experiences have guided me towards my future plans as I continue to study at Simpson College.”
