Our school counselors are professionals who specialize in helping students make decisions about their personal and educational needs while providing information about colleges and other life choices:
- Evaluating students’ interests, abilities, and personality characteristics
- Giving advice about college scholarships, financial aid programs, and admission requirements
- Helping students understand and overcome social and emotional problems
- Improving communication among students, faculty, and parents
- Teaching students about job placement services and community agencies that can help them find work
- Keeping records of scores, grades, and credits
- Writing letters of recommendation
