MATHCOUNTS
Students who have a love of math and desire for a challenge are encouraged to join the MATHCOUNTS program. This group meets one morning per week to practice challenging math problems. Students involved in other morning activities may still participate. This program starts in November. A local competition is held in February in Des Moines, but each school can only take a maximum of ten students to the competition. We would love to pack the classroom with students until then, though!
