On Tuesday Aug. 14th, from 9am–1pm, a joint training event conducted by the Indianola Police Department, the Indianola Fire Department, and the Indianola Community School District will be held at the Indianola High School. This training will be conducted both inside the Indianola High School as well as outside the High School and the Indianola Middle School.
We want to emphasize that you may hear loud noises, simulated injuries or see police officers and fire personnel making entry into the building at the high school, but it is for training purposes only and should not be considered a real world emergency. This training was designed to better prepare our community first responders as well as the Indianola Community School District for any type of emergency situation that may take place on school grounds.
