History    Poem

Chris moved to Indianola in the fall of 1987 just before his sophomore year in high school. As a 6'8'' sophomore, Chris finished fourth in Class 3A state tournament scoring with 52 points. Street also finished runner-up in rebounding with 34. Chris started for three years on the basketball team and was 6th team Allstate and first team Allstate during that time. His teams made it to the state tournament all three years finishing third his sophomore and senior seasons. Chris scored 961 points in his high school career and had 598 rebounds. Chris was very good with younger kids and always took time for them.
